JSS Mahavidyapeetha

Jagadguru Sri Shivarathreeswara Mahavidyapeetha (JSS MVP) was sponsored and nurtured by the 23rd pontiff, Jagadguru Dr. Sri Sri Shivarathri Rajendra Swamiji, Sri Veera Simahasana Math, Suttur, has been dedicating itself to the creation of a better future ever since it was formally established in 1954.

Over the years, the Mahavidyapeetha has established various educational institutions which includes Primary schools, High schools, Pre-university and Degree Colleges, Law college, Engineering colleges, Medicine, Dental Sciences, Pharmacy, Naturopathy, Nursing, Physiotherapy, and Speech and Hearing institutions. Currently, more than 300 educational institutions are functioning across the country and the world.

Our management, JSS Mahavidyapeetha, is running a teachers training institute, JSS Institute of Education in Sakleshpur. It is located in a picturesque location, on the banks of the river Hemavathi. The building is surrounded by lush greenery, coffee plantations and hill stations. It is completely free from pollution. It is located at a distance of 1.5 km from Sakleshpur town and is adjacent to NH-75. The college has an excellent infrastructure with well-equipped laboratories in the field of computer science, psychology and general science. There is a well-stocked library.
